The Conservatives equalled their lowest voter share and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak equalled his worst-ever net approval score in the latest polling by WeThink. 

Labour defended its 25-point lead in the polls with 46% while the Tories hit 21%, their joint-lowest vote share. It is only the third time the Conservatives have plunged so low.

Meanwhile, Mr Sunak’s net approval score dropped three points to –31 – equalling his worst approval score as Sir Keir Starmer increased his lead to 20 points in WeThink’s ‘preferred Prime Minister’ tracker.

CLEAR AS MUD? 

Voters know that political parties will unleash a plethora of promises and pledges in the run-up to election day. But how clearly are Labour and Conservatives communicating about their flagship policies?

On the subject of policies, one Conservative proposal is to scrap some university courses in England to help fund 100,000 apprenticeships per year. We asked voters if they were in favour or against it...
